1. Invite a fellow creator to sign up for Gnowbe by sharing your unique referral link, which can be found on your Gnowbe Dashboard.
2. Track your fellow creator's progress on Gnowbe Dashboard, including whether they sign up and/or subscribe.
3. If a creator uses your unique referral link to create a Gnowbe account, you will be credited with $5. Credits can be used to offset your paid Gnowbe subscription. You can invite up to 10 friends.
4. If the creator subscribes to a paid Gnowbe plan within 60 days of creating an account, you will both enjoy a 10% discount on your respective invoices.
Let’s take a closer look at what exactly to expect when you refer a fellow creator!
- You share your unique referral link via email or social media.
- On January 1, the creator uses your unique referral link to register for (create) a Gnowbe account.
- Congratulations, you will have $5 credited to your Gnowbe account! You and the fellow creator's accounts are now linked for 60 days.
- While the fellow creator's account is linked to yours, they will enjoy a 10% discount that is automatically applied to any Gnowbe’s Starter/Pro plan they purchase. For example: The fellow creator purchases an Annual Pro plan, this usually costs $948. With the 10% discount, they only pay $853.20 ($94.80 discount.)
- On March 2, 60 days later, your accounts will no longer be linked, and the fellow creator’s Starter/Pro plans will automatically revert to their original prices.
- If the fellow creator subscribes to a paid plan while your accounts are linked, you will get an automatic 10% off applied to your next invoice. For example: If you are currently on the Free plan, you will enjoy a 10% discount that is automatically applied to any Gnowbe’s Starter/Pro plan you next purchase. If you are currently on an Annual Pro plan with 2 licenses, instead of your usual invoice of $1,896, your next invoice will automatically include a 10% discount, so you only pay $1,706.40 ($198.60 discount.)

For every successful sign-up with your unique referral link, you will earn US $5 worth of Gnowbe credits. If you refer the maximum of 10 friends, you can earn a total of US $50 worth of Gnowbe credits - more than enough for one month’s subscription towards the Starter plan!
If a referred friend subscribes to a paid Gnowbe plan within 60 days of creating their account, you will enjoy 10% off of your first invoice if you are a free user, or 10% off of your upcoming invoice if you are an existing paid subscriber.

1. Gnowbe Enterprise plans are not a part of this referral program - please contact our Success team at success@gnowbe.com to learn more about our referral program for businesses.
2. Note that discounts are not additive - meaning that if you refer three friends who subscribe, you will get 10% off your next three invoices (instead of 30% off your next one invoice).
You can check the status of the friends whom you’ve invited on Gnowbe Dashboard. Click on the Referrals tab on the left menu, and scroll down to view Successful Sign-Ups.
When someone uses your unique referral link to sign up for a Gnowbe account, both accounts will be linked for 60 days - this is also represented visually by a banner on your friend's Gnowbe Web, App, and Dashboard.
While your accounts are linked, your friend can upgrade to a paid Gnowbe plan by clicking on the ‘View Plans’ button, or by using the Upgrade button on Gnowbe Dashboard. They can proceed to enter their payment details as per usual - the prices they see will automatically reflect the discounted price they enjoy as a referred party.
Note: Both parties will only enjoy the referral discount if the referred party subscribes within 60 days of creating their account, so act fast! After 60 days have passed, your friend will no longer see the referral banner on their Gnowbe Web/App/Dashboard, and you will both no longer be able to enjoy referral discounts.

This is Gnowbe’s first launch of an automated referral program for our Starter and Pro users, and we hope that it will be a mutually beneficial initiative. While we do not have a hard deadline for this referral promotion to end, we will be monitoring this referral program closely and extending or terminating the program based on results and feedback.
Gnowbe reserves the right to end/terminate/change any referral program at any time for any reason. This includes terminating/changing a referrer or referee's ability to participate in any referral program or receive rewards at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud (including by either the referrer and/or referee/invitee), creation of dud accounts, abuse, or any violation of our terms of use.
